Borussia Dortmund
Jurgen Klopp was able to field a first choice back four of Schmelzer, Hummels, Subotic and Piszczek at the weekend for the first time since the 2013 Champions League final.
All four came through the win over Hoffenheim unscathed and the coach is unlikely to make changes despite already securing their place in the round of 16, with top spot in the group still up for grabs.
Nuri Sahin was fit enough to make the bench at the weekend while Mitchell Langerak was called up at the expense of Roman Weidenfeller and may keep his place after a clean sheet on Saturday.
Anderlecht
Andy Najar, who has been an impressive performer for Anderlecht in the Champions League, has a knock and is expected to join Suarez, Nuytinck and Defour on the sidelines.
Fabrice N'Sakala was fit enough to make the bench in a disppointing 4-2 defeat in the league at the weekend, however, and will hope to make his return.
Aleksandar Mitrovic and Cyriac are in competition for a starting berth up front.
Prediction
Jurgen Klopp would probably have liked to rest some players in this one but two factors may stop him from doing so. After defeat against Arsenal a fortnight ago top spot is not yet assured, while the coach will know that he must build upon their narrow league victory at the weekend with the pressure having mounted on his job.
The hosts will be strong favourites as Anderlecht have nothing to play for having already secured third spot in the group and a resulting Europa League berth. The fact that the pressure is completely off the visitors may suit them, however, as it did in the latter stages at the Emirates.
Dortmund undoubtedly have the quality to win handsomely, as they managed in the reverse fixture, but it has become clear that you can't rely on this side to get a result right now so the Belgians shouldn't be written off.
