Burnley welcome Newcastle to Turf Moor on Tuesday looking to maintain a three-game unbeaten run that has kicked their Premier League season into life.
After a tricky start to the campaign, Sean Dyche's men registered their first wins against Hull City and away at Stoke before coming from 1-0 down to bag a precious point on Saturday against Aston Villa.
This run of results have lifted Burnley to within touching distance of safety and it is likely another victory here would move them out of the drop zone.
Newcastle and Burnley have plenty in common as the Toon have also shown how it is possible to bounce back from a dismal run of results with an unbeaten run.

Alan Pardew’s men were joint-bottom of the league with six games gone but went on to win five of their next six matches and have rocketed up the table.
However, that unbeaten run came to an end at the weekend at the hands of West Ham as Pardew’s side suffered a 1-0 reverse at the Boleyn Ground.

Goalkeeper Tim Krul is out until the new year with an ankle problem, while Fabricio Coloccini (calf) and Rolando Aarons (hamstring) are also ruled out.

Danny Ings was delighted to keep up his recent goalscoring record but had mixed emotions after 1-1 draw with Aston Villa
Merson's predictions
"I thought Newcastle were unlucky at West Ham on Saturday. Tiss was watching it in the Soccer Saturday studio and I was keeping an eye on it, and I thought they were unlucky to come away with nothing. Burnley not beating Villa wasn’t a great result for them - you need to be winning those games at home. So I’m going for a Newcastle win."
