    Dani Carvajal remains a doubt ahead of Tuesday's clash so Álvaro Arbeloa may keep his place at right-back.
    On the opposite side Marcelo may replace Coentrão at left-back after the Portuguese was given the nod in the derby defeat to Atletico at the weekend.
    Despite the loss on Saturday the team is likely to remain largely unchanged, with the likes of Isco, Illarramendi and Hernández hoping Ancelotti does decide to rotate his squad.

    Marcelo Díaz is suspended after picking up a straight red card in Basel's last European match, as they were dumped out of the Europa League last season by Valencia.
    Basel lost the likes of Yann Sommer and Valentin Stocker over the summer, with the latter replaced by Albanian Shkelzen Gashi, who has had a strong start to his time at the club.
    Club captain Marco Streller will likely lead the line on his own supported by the aforementioned Gashi and fellow new signing Derlis Gonzalez from wide.
    Basel have been playing with a back three in the league but could revert to a four after defeat to Grasshoppers at the weekend.
